Despite this specialty, he never missed a European numismatic conference and had come to this one also…

The real baroness, a chronic invalid, never left the family palace and her husband always traveled in the company of one of his mistresses. People in numismatic circles whispered that Soltieri collected more Florentines than Florentine coins."
