Last week I highlighted a Bank Note Reporter article by Bob Van Ryzin on an 1885 pamphlet by Nicholas Veeder on a "Co-metallic" monetary system.
In a separate email I asked Bob how he'd come across the pamphlet, which is quite rare. My personal copy is the only one I've ever seen - purchased in the John J. Ford library sale. As it turns out, he'd found a digital copy in an online search.

Also, by the way, the booklet has been reprinted in a limited edition of 85 numbered copies! I was surprised to see this for sale (and equally surprised at the $195 price.)
