COUNTERFEIT DETECTOR INFO. NEEDED
Member Wendell Wolka is in the midst of researching a new book on Ohio obsolete notes and asks if anyone can provide photocopies of the Ohio pages from a certain counterfeit
detector. He unfortunately does not presently know the name of the specific detector (he'd like to know that as well), but describes the methodology:
Composite woodcut drawings of specific notes are shown with key features of both genuine and counterfeit notes detailed and numbered on the image. These features are then
numbered and described in a brief summary for each note. He has several of the plates and descriptions, but not the whole Ohio section.
Wendell is willing to pay any costs associated with copying these pages and would also love to purchase an original copy if any of you have an extra. He can be contacted at
PURDUENUT@aol.com or P.O. Box 569, Dublin, OH 43017.
