The E-Sylum: Volume 5, Number 10, March 3, 2002, Article 12 FEATURED WEB PAGE This week's featured web page is the Pine Tree Shillings chapter from "The Whole History of Grandfather's Chair: True Stories From New England History, 1620-1808" by American writer Nathaniel Hawthorne. Hawthorne wrote a series of sketches of New England history, published in 1841 as "Grandfather's Chair: A History for Youth."
