The E-Sylum: Volume 7, Number 1, January 4, 2004, Article 10 STAMP AUCTION BIBLIOGRAPHY SOUGHT Len Augsberger writes: "Is there a source similar to Martin Gengerke's "American Numismatic Auctions" for American stamp auction sales? I am searching for information on the stamp auction catalogs of Perry Fuller, Baltimore coin & stamp dealer in the 1930s and 1940s." [A peek through my library turned up two Fuller catalogs: The famous May 2, 1935 "Auction Sale of United States Gold Unearthed in Baltimore, Maryland by Theodore Jones and Henry Grob, minors" and a May 22, 1936 catalog of "United States Coins, Stamps and Miscellaneous Jewelry (Collection of the late Judge Walter I. Dawkins). The 213-lot sale consists primarily of U.S. gold coins and U.S. proof and uncirculated sets from 1901 through 1926. -Editor] Wayne Homren, Editor The Numismatic Bibliomania Society is a non-profit organization promoting numismatic literature.
