The E-Sylum: Volume 7, Number 52, December 26, 2004, Article 14 WHEAT IMAGES ON COINS AND BANKNOTES Last week we wrote that the United States Botanic Gardens (USBG) in Washington D.C. is seeking images of North American and European currency and coins showing images of wheat. Chris Fuccione and I both suggested the obvious starting point of the wheat-back Lincol Cent 1909-1959. Rich Hartzog writes: "I can supply items and/or images of a number of world tokens/medals with wheat. Please pass on my email, thanks!" We'll forward Rich's offer to the folks at USBG.
