The E-Sylum: Volume 9, Number 18, April 30, 2006, Article 25 JACOB PERKINS BUILDING PHOTOS Dick Hanscom visited family in Newburyport, MA last week, and he took some photos of the old Jacob Perkins mint building that's been in the news recently. He writes: "They're not good photos, but good enough to show what all the fuss is about." One appears to have been taken from the "backyard" of the Newburyport Historical Society. It's fun to imagine the activity 200 years ago in Perkins' workshop."
