The E-Sylum: Volume 10, Number 1, January 7, 2007, Article 23 JAMESTOWN 400TH ANNIVERSARY COMMEMORATIVE COIN CEREMONY PLANNED The Jamestown, VA Daily Press reported that "Gold and silver commemorative coins issued by the U.S. Mint in honor of Jamestown's 400th anniversary will be available at Jamestown Settlement on Thursday. "Edmund C. Moy, director of the Mint, will participate in the release ceremony in Jamestown Settlement's Robins Foundation Theater at 10 a.m., immediately before coin sales begin." "Congress authorized the production of up to 100,000 $5 gold coins and up to 500,000 silver dollars honoring Jamestown and America's 400th Anniversary."
