The E-Sylum: Volume 10, Number 28, July 15, 2007, Article 12 QUIZ ANSWER: LLANTRISANT'S NUMISMATIC CONNECTION Last I asked about the numismatic connection of Llantrisant, Wales. Jeff Starck of Coin World was the first to answer. He writes: "Llantrisant is home to the Royal Mint." I also asked if anyone knew the proper definition of "penultimate", a favorite word of Q. David Bowers who, like me, had misunderstood it for years. Jeff also got this correct. He writes: "Penultimate means second to last, i.e., not the ultimate, but the one preceding the ultimate. Stack's Part 27 of the John J. Ford collection might be the penultimate, with Part 28 being the last. (I jest about the number of sales, though!)." Joe Boling also came through with correct answers to both questions. Wayne Homren, Editor The Numismatic Bibliomania Society is a non-profit organization promoting numismatic literature.
