The E-Sylum: Volume 11, Number 6, February 10, 2008, Article 18 QUERY: PHILADELPHIA NATIONAL BANK OBSOLETE BANKNOTE COLLECTION While looking for other things I came across a full-page ad in the program for the 1941 American Numismatic Association convention in Philadelphia. It stated "Delegates to the A.N.A. convention are invited to inspect our collection of old state bank notes on display at our Downtown Office, 321 Chestnut Street. The Philadelphia National Bank / Organized 1803..." Would any of our readers know what ever became of the bank's collection?
