The company, Odyssey Marine, which recovered the treasure last spring, is fighting to keep information about the find secret — to preserve the site from unscrupulous treasure hunters. Spain believes the estimated half-billion dollars in silver and gold coins may be its property and that Odyssey Marine is withholding information that may show that to be the case.
