HUB COIN BLOOPER: TYPO, OR MEHL'S ADVERTISING SECRET?

John Lupia writes:
I was recently doing research on B. Max Mehl and observed that his very first full-page ad in the February 1904 issue of The Numismatist reveals what might have been his advertising secret (years before Packard's "Hidden Persuaders") on how he got started successfully soliciting a flurry of responses from collectors. I am sure many curious readers wanted to know what sort of illustrations were contained in his HUB COIN BOOB.
