AN EARLY U.S COIN WITH THE POLHEMUS COUNTERSTAMP

I just thought I would share another J. L. Polhemus
counterstamp. Most of these are found on coins from the mid-19th century.
This example on an 1833 dime is one of the earliest dated United States
coins known with this stamp.
