David F. Fanning Numismatic
Literature has announced that its October 28 auction is now available
online, on the company's Web site at www.fanningbooks.com. The 787-lot
mail bid sale includes a wide variety of material spanning six centuries,
a dozen languages and all major areas of numismatics. The online version
is unillustrated, to save space: the illustrated hard-copy catalogues
should mail this week. To request a hard-copy catalogue, please write
David Fanning at dfanning@columbus.rr.com. Recent customers will
automatically receive a copy. One note: The PDF version of the catalogue does not include the bidsheet, which states that we are charging the customary 15% buyers premium. Bidders will be reminded of this when bidding over the phone or by e-mail, but please keep it in mind. We will try to post an updated PDF soon that makes this clear.
