CORRECTION: WILLARD WIGAN, CREATOR OF THE WORLD'S TINIEST SCULPTURESR.V. Dewey notes that the Snopes web site I cited in my
earlier piece on the British artist who creates tiny sculptures misspelled
the gentleman's name, and I perpetuated the error. It's Willard
Wigan, not Wigen. He confirmed this with Wigan's personal assistant.
Sorry! R.V. also forwarded these images. The first is a model of the Titanic on the point of a needle, and the second is of the artist and his patron, David Lloyd. He writes: "The man in the orange shirt is the $20,000,000.00 buyer of Willard.s micro-art." -Editor To read the earlier E-Sylum article, see: WILLARD WIGAN: THE WORLD'S TINIEST SCULPTURES (corrected) (http://www.coinbooks.org/esylum_v11n46a21.html) Wayne Homren, Editor The Numismatic Bibliomania Society is a non-profit organization promoting numismatic literature.
