All E-Sylum readers are encouraged to exhibit numismatic literature at the conventions of the American Numismatic Association. One of the best things you as an exhibitor can do to really learn what it takes to build a world-class exhibit is to become a judge yourself. It's a great way to give back to the hobby while at the same time getting a great education on the do's and don'ts of exhibiting. I took the Judging class many years ago, and it was relatively easy and very fun. Chief Judge Sam Deep forwarded the following information on the next judging class. -Editor Do you aspire to be an ANA Exhibits Judge? The National Money Show in Portland may be your opportunity to achieve that goal. Chief Judge Sam Deep will conduct a Judge's Certification Class on Friday, March 13, 10:30AM to Noon. After that you'll demonstrate your judging skills on the exhibits in Portland. If your work results in your becoming certified, you can begin judging as early as the World's Fair of Money in Los Angeles. For more information or to reserve a place in the Portland class of apprentice judges, contact Sam at deepsam@aol.com by March 9.
