QUERY: NUMISMATIST WILLIAM P. BECK Pete Smith collects and researches the personal medals and tokens of numismatists. He submitted this query - can anyone help? -Editor I have found tokens from William P. Beck with groups of tokens issued by numismatists. However, I know nothing about his involvement with the hobby, if any. The following comes from an obituary I found. William P. Beck was born in New Rochelle, New York, on December 2, 1939. He died on November 23, 2002. For 30 years he was employed by the Department of Public Works in New Rochelle.   I would like to hear from anyone who remembers him. Even better, I would like a reference to his name appearing somewhere in print related to numismatics.
