NEW RUSSIAN KALUGA STATE 10 RUBLE COIN
Ultra-modern numismatist P.K. Saha forwarded images of several new coins. I was most impressed with this 10-ruble coin commemorating the Russian state of Kaluga. The coin features an ambitious bird-eye perspective view of a town with intricate details more reminiscent of a fine high-relief medal than a circulating coin.
