Sorry for the suspense, but until this week I had nothing to report on the September 28th hearing to determine whether former ANA Executive Director Christopher Cipoletti should be suspended from practicing law. On October 8th the Colorado Springs Gazette published a short article on the results of the hearing.

Counsel investigates complaints that he breached the
Rules of Professional Conduct
by converting money
that belonged to his former
employer. the American
Numismatic Association.
for his own use, the presiding
disciplinary judge ruled
Tuesday.
A hearing was held in
Denver on Sept. 28 to
consider whether Cipoletti's
license should be suspended
based on allegations
presented in a civil lawsuit
filed in Fourth Judicial
District Court that Cipoletti
double-billed personal legal
clients and the organization
for travel expenses of nearly
$10,000.
Cipoletti. who specializes
in nonprofit and employment
issues, paid back the
money with interest.
Presiding Disciplinary Judge (PDJ)
William Lucero wrote in his opinion that the offences did NOT warrant immediate suspension, but left the door open for action at a later time.
