My guess is Boston. I think I saw that building (with the faded wall sign still visible) in the North End last summer.
David attached a copy of a December 11, 1909 newspaper item (Turner's Public Spirit of Ayer, MA) mentioning that a Frank Dupee donated some money toward the construction of a new Y.M.C.A. building in Lowell, MA.
