Arriving in my inbox this week was an announcement of the upcoming Spink sale of Ancient, English And Foreign Coins and Commemorative Medals
(London, 1-2 December 2010). The Spink catalogues are always enjoyable to read, with illustrations of a wide array of coins across continents and centuries. Here's just one item that caught my eye.
