Dick Hanscom writes:
I have a project that I have been thinking about/working of for 15+ years. No sense hurrying things.
This project requires reprinting articles from various sources. I have received permission to do so. My question is-
How long is that permission valid? Some of these "permissions" are 10+ years old.
Perhaps readers can enlighten me.
Good question. What do readers know about this? I would think that unless a time period was specified, Dick could reprint the material any number of years afterward. But also, unless the permission was extended to Dick's "heirs and assigns", it expires when he does. So don't um, wait TOO long...
