The TAF is a non-profit organization with the mission of developing permanent and tangible tourism assets as they relate to history, heritage, agritourism, outdoor recreation and local culture in Rutherford County, NC. The first task of the TAF is to secure grant funding and raise money from private donors to purchase the Bechtler House, and then to develop the Bechtler Mint Site.
