The prices realized list for our numismatic literature mail-bid sale #119 has now been posted on Lake Books' web site at
http://www.lakebooks.com/current.html The sale attracted spirited bidding on a variety of subjects including Remy Bourne's two-volume work on “American Numismatic Periodicals” bringing a bid of $310.00 on an estimate of $250.00. Martin Gengerke's specially bound volume on “American Numismatic Auctions” garnered a top bid of $333.00. A long run of bound auctions from George F. Kolbe were also in demand. A copy of “Early United States Dimes” brought a strong bid of $210.00 while “Federal Half Dimes” was hammered down at $120.00
The next sale will take place in early December with the catalog being available for viewing on our web site in early November. Remember to bid early as ties are won by the earliest bid received.
