Regarding the 1953 Emperor Norton gold medal sought by Neil Shafer, John Kraljevich writes:

E-Sylum readers never cease to amaze me. I'd never seen one of these or known they existed until I read Neil Shafer's
article about the corresponding "Gold Crown" notes. Here they are again, to match them up with the medal. There must be an article or
advertisement in the San Francisco Chronicle explaining more about what these items are and how they came about. Any researchers out there
willing to dig around? -Editor
