I collected Pittsburgh obsolete notes for many years and a number of my old notes are included. Bob and Skip have been working on
this project for over ten years, and it's great to see it come to fruition. Below is a selection of rare notes covered in the book. One is from a
municipality that no longer exists - the Borough of Birmingham was merged in the City of Pittsburgh - it covered what is now known as the South Side.
This will be great input for the Whitman obsolete note catalog project. -Editor
