The Orphan Army - Probably a receipt for a donation to the orphans of WW I.
The famous Rene Lalique was born in 1860. During the period 1882-1900 he gained eminence as a jewelry designer. In 1900 he receives the
prestigious award "Croix de Chevalier de la Legion d'Honneur"
Thin bronze pin or badge, uniface (one sided, reverse incuse), 30mm wide.
