SOME RECENT COIN DESIGNS: MARCH 1, 2015

It's been a while since I've had time to do a roundup of any recent coin designs, so here goes. Based on dealers', mints' and central Banks' news mails, ultra-modern numismatist Pabitra Saha reports on the latest coin designs. Here are some that caught my eye in recent weeks. -Editor

I like the reflections in the lake. Nice effect. -Editor

Czech Republic Coin on Thomas Bata

As an old-time Ed Sullivan impersonator would say, that's "a really big shoe". -Editor

Finland Coin on Sisu

I read the "Sisu" is a Finnish term for guts and determination. But this looks more like a "broken heart" coin. What's going on here? -Editor
