The BCCS is a group of coin collectors that are interested in the coins designed by Charles E. Barber, Chief Engraver of the U.S. Mint
from 1879 to 1917. He is best known for his Liberty Head designs on the dime, quarter, and half, as well as the popular Liberty Head (or
"V") nickel.
The purpose of this site is to provide valuable information and knowledge about Barber coins, details about the Society, and to make
it easy for you to participate. Please explore the site, meet with us at major coin shows, and accept our invitation to join.
