Regarding the recent discussion of engraved medals, I have attached scans of a member’s ticket or pass from the Columbian Anacreontic Society, a music society that existed in New York from about
1795 to 1803. To the best of my knowledge, this has never appeared in any numismatic publication; an article is currently in preparation.
Thank you! I wasn't aware of this piece and have long been fascinated by similar engraved and struck theatre tickets and passes used in England in the 1600s and early 1700s.
