Iraj Sayah was a wealthy Iranian business involved in the coin market in the 1990's. He is famous for his efforts to unify the coin industry. His company UNITRADE was instrumental in the first attempts at trading rare coins sight unseen. In 1991 at the Long Beach Coin Expo he hosted the third annual Friendship Party for all the numismatic dealers. He spared no expense to entertain and the gathering has become legendary.
