"I thought readers might like to see these images of some recent acquisitions that may also be of interest.
One is the Biden inaugural medal, and the other is a gorgeous restrike of the Libertas Americana medal made by Intaglio
Mint and sold by Limited Mintage, its retail division. They make a lot of tributes to famous coins, and this one is especially
well done in high relief with a 39-mm diameter and made from 2 ounces of silver. Very reasonable at only about $10 over the
silver value. I got one regular finish and one in antique finish as you can see from the pics. They are sold out but may get more."
Thanks - a nicely done Libertas. Such a classic design - it never gets old. The inaugural medals were struck by the Medalcraft Mint in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Not a bad obverse, but the reverse is atrocious.
