Numismatics Seminar: Greece After Rome

Coins and the Colosseum
ANS Fellow Richard M. Beleson will present a collector's perspective on coins relating to the Flavian Amphitheater, also known as the Colosseum. He will give a comprehensive review of coins that depict the Colosseum or relate to its history. In addition to discussing the Colosseum, he will discuss a day at the Colosseum, a history of the Colosseum, and the legacy of the Colosseum.
