Here's another entry from Dick Johnson's Encyclopedia of Coin and Medal Terminology.

Inverted Inscription.
Lettering on a numismatic item whose horizontal alignment is such that it partly reads correctly one way, partly when rotated 180°. An example is a Prague Exposition Medal of 1891 whose reverse inscription is in Czech, and in German by inverted inscription; this design was created by Johann Bartholomaus Braun.
A short entry, this one really calls out for an illustration. I found an image of the medal online.
