"I see you mentioned the 1798/7 7x6 stars $10 in Heritage's upcoming sale. The pedigree on this coin has been much discussed between myself, Heritage and Ron Guth as the 1911 Woodin plate image 1 does not match the Heritage plate image 3 but it does appear to match the Earle plate image 2 as noted. The Woodin coin was purchased by J.C. Mitchelson. I have emailed the Connecticut State Library to see if there is one in the collection but have not yet gotten a reply. The named Earle catalog on the Newman portal under lot 2293 has the Earle coin going to either Woodin or Silas Wodell as the buyer."
