ANA BOOK RESTORATION
The November, 1999 issue of The Numismatist reports (on page 1337) that the latest book restoration effort is a two-volume set of "Thomason's Medallic History of the Bible," printed in Birmingham, England ca. 1832-1837. Each volume "contains 30 tissue-guarded, enameled impressions of …original silver medallions" inspired by the artworks of da Vinci, ichelangelo, Raphael, Rembrandt, Reubens, and Titian.
