The E-Sylum: Volume 8, Number 12, March 21, 2005, Article 17 1851 LONDON EXHIBITOR'S MEDAL INFO SOUGHT Jim Barry writes: "I recently purchased an Exhibitor's Medal from the 1851 Great Exhibition in London. (Bust of Prince Albert facing left on the obverse, a globe decorated with a scroll inscribed EXHIBITOR within a wreath on the reverse). While I have done research on same, I would like to know more about this particular medal. The medal is edge lettered "United States of America #14". Is there any information on the person who was Exhibitor #14 and what his/her exhibit was? I realize that there were several types of exhibits with foreigners being listed separately but hope someone would have more information on this exhibitor. Thank you for your consideration."
