Commenting on last week's Featured Web Site, Jim Downey writes: I have been using NewspaperArchive.Com for a few years now. It is a great resource for researching local matters such as Depression Scrip. I can access it for free at home by going through the website for my local library.
Russ Sears writes: My wife Jane has been using the web site geneologybank.com for about a year. There is a cost to subscribe. While the site is great for researching one's family, it also includes a newspaper search. This has been the source for much of her recent token research. Advertisements can show you exactly when a company was in business and sometimes include announcements when a company began business as well as ownership changes and dissolution of a business. Fantastic for token research!
