THIEVES ROB BANK OF FAKE MONEY

This short story from Colombia is an absolute classic of the "stupid thieves" genre. -Editor
Columbia fake mil_pesos Three criminals were caught in Barranquilla Saturday after they had robbed a local bank of what later proved to be false money.

Police was able to arrest the three after the motorcycles they were riding bumped into each other and crashed.

Severely injured they were taken to a local hospital where the police told them that the money they had stolen was not worth the four million the thieves thought it was, but instead counterfeit money used by the bank to train their employees.

The bankrobbers have to stay in hospital for a considerable time, before taken to court.
