Dave GInsburg asked about the status of numismatic book publisher Zyrus Press, after noticing that the company's web site was
offline. I reached out first to Howard Berlin, whose book The Numismatourist was published by Zyrus. Howard put me in touch with
Zyrus owner Bart Crane of wholesaler Transline Supply Company in Huntington Beach, CA. -Editor
Bart Crane writes:
While publishing is what I love to do, unfortunately, at this time, I have no plans to continue publishing new books.
The Zyrus Press imprint is now under the umbrella of Transline Supply Company. It just did not make sense to carry it on as a separate
business entity.
We will continue to reprint existing titles under the Zyrus name, as well as the Cornerstone Album line.
I'm sorry to hear the news, but glad that new editions and reprints are still part of the mix. Pictured are some of Zyrus'
titles. -Editor
