John Albanese Funds Numismatic Organizations Nonprofit numismatic organizations, from small local clubs to national groups, now have an opportunity to receive monetary donations through a new CAC Grading (www.CACGrading.com) fundraising initiative called the CACG Charity Label.

CACG Founder and CEO John Albanese is signing 20,000 specially created encapsulation insert labels that were offered in a private auction among CACG's authorized modern bulk submission clients. The auction brought a six-figure winning bid, and all the proceeds will be donated in various amounts to non-profit numismatic organizations and charities.

"I invite clubs and numismatic groups to write to me personally explaining why they should receive a donation, and how the money will be used. Please, don't use artificial intelligence (AI) software to write your message. Tell me, in your own words, why and how. I'll personally read every request that is received by October 31, 2026," explained Albanese.

The requests for donations should be sent by email to jalbanese@cacgrading.com.

In addition to recipient nonprofit numismatic organizations, CAC Grading will be donating some of the proceeds to food pantries to help the needy.

"This is a ‘one-and-done' signature signing. This is the last time my autograph will be on CACG insert labels," emphasized Albanese.

Additional information about the CACG Charity Label project will be announced in the coming weeks.

In 2007, Albanese and two dozen veteran numismatists founded Certified Acceptance Corporation (CAC) to provide buyers and sellers with verification that their coins certified by third-party grading services met stringent standards. Coins that met their standards received a coveted green CAC sticker on the encapsulation holders.

In 2022, Albanese organized over 150 leading members of the numismatic community to expand their mission for accuracy and consistency by creating a new third-party grading and encapsulation service, CAC Grading, which was launched in 2023.
