PHOTOGRADE PRINT RUN INFORMATION SOUGHT

Bill Bremmer writes: "I recently purchased a copy of
Photograde, the 1970 edition. It states the various
printings as follows:

1st printing August 1970
2nd printing September 1970
3rd printing October 1970
4th printing November 1970

It would seem that the book must've caused
quite a stir in 1970 to have that many printings
so fast. Would you happen to know how many books
would have been a typical printing back then?"

[Great question - does anyone happen to know the
answer? How many printings did the 1970 edition go
through in all? What's the highest printing number
anyone has seen? -Editor]
